The B-MX submersible mixer guarantees effective mixing of the substrate. Its streamlined shape is impressive and produces an ideal flow pattern.

Components

Design and construction

B-MX Submersible Mixer
1 One-piece mixer housing The one-piece housing is made of stainless steel to high precision.
2 Blades The two-blade propeller is made entirely of stainless steel and mounted on the shaft. The smooth surface of the whole mixer allows liquid to reach the propeller without creating turbulence.
3 Motor Four different motor ratings are available. The oil in the motor not only gives a long service life but also lubricates the tapered roller bearing.
4 Mechanical seal The Börger mechanical seal, tried and tested over decades, separates the working end of the mixer from the motor.

Operating principle

Effective substrate mixing

B-MX submersible mixer — photo 2

The Börger B-MX with aerodynamic blades is installed in a tank filled with liquid or in a liquid manure channel. Rotation of the mixer blades circulates the liquid, including the solids it contains. Thick floating layers and heavy sediment are mixed in.

The elegant design and smooth surface of the whole mixer allow liquid to reach the propeller without creating turbulence. This ensures high efficiency.

Advantages

The Börger B-MX submersible mixer — reliability and quality

Thought through down to the smallest detail, the design of the Börger B-MX offers outstanding quality, from the choice of materials to ease of servicing.

Advantages at a glance

Entirely of stainless steel The housing and all parts in contact with the medium are made of stainless steel.
Streamlined construction The elegant design and absence of sharp corners ensure a smooth flow of liquid to the propeller without turbulence.
A mechanical seal tried and tested over decades The Börger mechanical seal, tried and tested over decades, separates the working end of the mixer from the motor.
Cable entry in the protected rear section of the motor An insulated yet easily replaceable cable entry supplies three-phase current through the connecting cable. A thermal sensor built into the winding monitors the motor and protects it against overload.
Optimal efficiency The aerodynamic design delivers high performance.
Simple maintenance The oil in the motor not only gives a long service life but also lubricates the tapered roller bearing, which keeps servicing costs to a minimum.

Application examples

The B-MX mixer is used in tanks and circulation systems.

A submersible mixer can mix sludge, liquid manure, waste, feed and so on.

B-MX submersible mixer for circulation systems

To keep liquid manure easy to pump afterwards, the channels in circulation or slalom mixing systems are arranged so that the manure is mixed from one working position in the circulation system.

All the liquid manure is mixed by a B-MX mixer installed in an opening in the wall.

The B-MX mixer creates a circulating flow of liquid manure in the mixing tunnel. The flow is directed away from the mixer.
