How it works
A gas cylinder heater is a flexible heating belt or jacket that wraps around the whole surface of the cylinder. A built-in heating element warms the cylinder walls evenly, which ensures steady vaporisation of the liquefied gas.
A thermostat automatically maintains the set temperature and switches the heating off once it is reached, which rules out overheating and makes operation safe. The construction is fully sealed, protected against moisture and rated for outdoor use at temperatures down to −40 °C.

At what temperature should a heater be used?
Heating the cylinder is recommended below 0 °C. The lower the temperature, the more gas pressure falls without heating. At −20 °C and below, working without a heater becomes practically impossible.

On average 100–500 W depending on the model and ambient temperature. The thermostat switches the heating on only when needed, so actual consumption is usually below the rated power.
Is a heater safe to use?
