Börger portable pumps are light, compact units designed to be carried by one or two operators. They are used in emergency and recovery work, in equipment servicing and in places where a trailer-mounted or self-propelled machine cannot be brought in. A solution for contractor crews and emergency services.
Design and dimensions
At the core is a Börger rotary lobe pump in a compact housing, mounted on a light frame with carrying handles. In the electric-drive version the unit weighs 35 to 70 kg depending on the model. The dimensions are chosen so that the pump fits through standard process hatches and narrow gaps between equipment. A protective cover shields the components during transport in a service vehicle.

Where it is used

Advantages of the portable version
Unlike trailer-mounted units, a portable pump can be carried into a basement, taken up a staircase or flown to a remote site by helicopter. Compared with mobile centrifugal pumps, the Börger rotary design is self-priming, tolerates dry running and handles dirty and viscous liquids without losing capacity.
Selection and configuration
