Börger container filling systems are complete stations for the metered filling of liquids into drums, IBCs, road tankers and process vessels. They comprise a rotary lobe pump, a flow meter with automatic batch control, a flow shut-off system and an operator panel. They are used at chemical warehouses, oil depots, in the food industry and when dispatching finished products from production.
System components
The basic configuration includes a Börger pump with drive, a high-accuracy flow meter, a shut-off valve, pipework and a control panel with batch setting. Options include a service platform, earthing for work with flammable liquids, overfill protection and emergency stop. The design is modular: a single-channel or multi-channel filling line can be assembled.

Advantages of an integrated solution
Unlike manual filling through an open valve, a Börger system ensures batch accuracy and prevents overfilling. Compared with systems based on centrifugal pumps, it handles viscous and non-homogeneous liquids correctly without separating the batch. The pump's reversible mode allows one line to be used both for filling and for emergency pump-out from an overfilled container.
