Three-Point Base-Mounted Unit
A three-point base-mounted unit is a fixed version of the Börger rotary lobe pump on a stable triangular frame. It is used at industrial sites where the pump must stay in a permanent fixed position: on process lines, in transfer stations and as part of automated metering and batching systems. An alternative to mobile units where work is done at a single point.
Design of the three-point base
A frame with three feet provides stability on uneven industrial floors without elaborate foundation work. Each foot is height-adjustable, which allows the pump to be levelled precisely even on a sloping floor. Fixing to the floor is by anchors. The design is more compact than a linear frame and leaves free space around the pump for servicing.

Where it is used

Advantages of the fixed version

Börger Container Filling Systems
Börger container filling systems are complete stations for the metered filling of liquids into drums, IBCs, road tankers and process vessels. Tanker-Mounted Pump
The Börger tanker-mounted pump is fixed pumping equipment installed directly on a vacuum, sludge or oil-collection tanker. It is used for two-way duty: vacuum loading of the tank at the pumping point and forced discharge at the disposal point. A solution for specialised vehicle fleets at municipal and oilfield service companies.
How two-way operation works
The Börger rotary lobe pump is reversible — the flow direction changes without re-routing the hoses. At the pick-up point the operator switches the unit to suction and the tank fills. Where it is used

THW Pump
The Börger THW pump is a series of emergency-response pumping units developed to the technical requirements of the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (Technisches Hilfswerk, THW). It is designed for dealing with floods, pipeline ruptures and major industrial accidents. The design is built for extreme conditions with minimum set-up time.
Design and drives
The pump is mounted on a reinforced frame with roll bars and lifting points. The power end is an air-cooled diesel engine with an enlarged fuel tank for 6–10 hours of operation. A hydraulic drive from an external source is available as an option. All controls are brought out to a single vandal-resistant panel.

Application scenarios
The main duties are dealing with flooding, pumping from receiving tanks during petroleum product spills and emergency emptying of process vessels. Hand-Trolley Pump
The Börger hand-trolley pump is a compact mobile unit on a wheeled frame with a handle for moving it by hand. It is the solution for prompt liquid transfer where fixed equipment cannot be installed: tank servicing, emergency work at remote sites and repair operations in confined access.
Design and operating principle
The unit is built around a Börger rotary positive-displacement pump with two synchronously rotating lobes. The pump is self-priming — it lifts liquid from up to 7 metres without pre-filling. Reversible operation allows the flow direction to be changed without re-routing the hoses.
The drive is an electric motor or an internal-combustion engine depending on the application. Fire Pump
